Reporting on the Osaka Expo 2025
On November 13, the autumn meeting of the Hungarian-Japanese Economic Club was held at the Japanese embassy, with the special purpose of reporting on the Osaka World Expo and reflecting on the experiences in the light of Hungarian-Japanese economic relations.
At our autumn club meeting, eight speakers reported on their experiences at the Osaka Kansai '25 EXPO, which lasted from April to October, and on the innovative work the results of which were presented at this world-renowned event.
After the reports of the members of our club's management, the excellent organizers of the Hungarian pavilion presented the atmosphere of the EXPO and the undivided success of the Hungarian pavilion in pictures and videos.

After that, four emerging Hungarian companies presented their products and services, which they hope would also find their place in the Japanese market, known for its high requirements. During the presentation, we were able to learn about healthcare products, AI applications, a solar-powered smart bench, and the effort to expand sustainability, and the application of hydrogen as a fuel.

At our event, as host, the Japanese Ambassador to Hungary, Mrs. Hikariko ONO welcomed the attendees, and Deputy Foreign Minister Levente Magyar also paid his respects, addressing to the audience with profound thoughts and encouraging words in order to broaden and deepen Hungarian-Japanese economic relations.
