As a business leader in Japan - presentation at the club

Mr. Norbert Palanovics, TDK’s Managing Director for Global Communications and former Hungarian Ambassador to Tokyo, gave a presentation at our club.

In the introduction to his presentation titled “As a Business Leader in Japan – Unconcernedly about Business and Personal Experiences”, Norbert Palanovics first talked about what it was like to return to the business sphere after diplomacy.

He then introduced TDK, the 90-year-old Japanese company, without whose products today’s digital life would practically come to a standstill, and where more than a hundred thousand people work, who are referred to as teammates and team members in the company’s communications. Here he spoke about TDK’s special relationship with Hungary, as well as the complex corporate governance system that makes the company special.

In the second half of the presentation, he spoke about the changes taking place in Japan, the economic climate and interesting facts that may be important for Hungarian companies trying to enter the Japanese market.

We would like to thank everyone for their participation, and we would especially like to express our gratitude to Norbert Palanovics, who honored us with his presence and interesting presentation during his very short visit to Hungary.
