What is the Club and what is not...

The motto of the Hungarian-Japanese Economic Club is: "A bridge to Hungarian-Japanese business relations". However, this does not mean that our Club, which operates under the terms of the Association Act, would intervene in specific matters, such as business acquisition and/or selling specific products. Our members are primarily concerned with the background of the economic relations between the two countries, part of which is the business culture, that is quite different in Japan and Hungary despite the effects of globalization. Therefore, we are more interested in the macro-level development of the economic relations between the two countries. Since we do not want to perform state duties under any circumstances, our member meetings and club events take place in "relaxed" conditions, often at a white table. If after this one of our members uses what he/she learned and heard in the Club in his own business, that is his/her business...
