Visit to the Embassy - Japanese investors in Hungary

Péter Szíjjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, visited the Embassy of Japan in Budapest on the occasion of the Sakura blossoming - the Japanese spring celebration. After the visit, he made the following post on his Facebook page:

"In Hungary, about 200 Japanese companies employ more than 30,000 people, thereby contributing to the security of the livelihood of many thousands of Hungarian families.

In the past 8 years, 37 Japanese companies have received government support to implement their investments in Hungary, and Japanese companies are still committed to developing their operations in Hungary.

In addition to the existing ones, there are also new arrivals who were attracted to Hungary by political stability, investment support and the lowest taxes in Europe. The continued desire to invest can also be seen in the trade figures, as Hungarian exports to Japan increased by 14 percent last year.

We are grateful to the Ambassador for the hospitality."

Therefore, we are more interested in the macro-level development of the economic relations between the two countries. Since we do not want to perform state duties under any circumstances, our member meetings and club events take place in "relaxed" conditions, often at a white table. If after this one of our members uses what he/she learned and heard in the Club in his own business, that is his/her business...
